In 2025/26, we’re excited to be launching both in-person and virtual masterclasses for those looking to go beyond event planning and explore the world of event design. We’ve made it a priority to offer accessible, affordable training for people around the globe. Shade Adeniji has always had a passion for creating unforgettable memories. From seeing the joy on a celebrant’s face to perfecting every detail of an event, it’s this drive that led her to turn her passion into a career.

When Shade started BLX Events, she quickly realized she had a bigger mission: helping other female entrepreneurs thrive. This inspired her to create Bags & Boardrooms, an annual event where women could tackle career challenges and gain the tools to excel.

Now, Shade is focusing on guiding other event planners and managers who want to step into the world of event design. With a master’s degree in Events Management & Design and 7 years of experience in hospitality and events, she’s ready to empower women who are eager to make a real impact in the industry.
